School is out and unfortunately that warmer weather didn’t stay. We’ve had a mix of cold and wet and it looks like winter is here to stay. If you are like us you likely will be spending as little time outside as possible during your Indianapolis, IN winter break. Staying warm and dry this week doesn’t mean you can’t get out and have some fun though. Here are some of the best indoor activities in Indianapolis, IN so you can get out and enjoy our city, keeping warm at the same time, and keep those kids occupied.
Sky Zone. If you are looking for fun for all ages check out Sky Zone, an indoor trampoline park. Sky Zone is a great way to exercise and get out some energy this winter when the outdoor temps keep you from outdoor exercise. Jump times are every 30 minutes and reservations are recommended. Located outside of Indianapolis in both Fishers and Plainfield.
Climb Time Indy. Another great indoor exercise option is Climb Time Indy. Even if you’ve never tried rock climbing you should check out Climb Time Indy, the facility is for climbers of all degree of expertise – beginner to advanced. The whole family will have a great time trying out the different routes and over 8,500 square feet of climbing surface. Located in Indianapolis.
Garfield Park Conservatory. Enjoy the tropical temperatures at Garfield Park Conservatory while checking out the 10,000 square feet of plants in full bloom. It is a wonderful escape from Indianapolis’ winter wonderland. Located on Indianapolis’ near South Side. *closed New Years Day
